General Work Rules

General Work Rules and Procedures

Frame Destination wants to encourage a safe and pleasant work atmosphere. This can only happen when the entire team cooperates and commits to appropriate standards of procedure.

Behavior at Work

  1. Each employee should be at their work station and ready to work at their scheduled start time.
  2. Each employee is expected to clock in and out according to the policies listed.
  3. Each employee should carry out the instructions provided to them by their supervisor.
  4. Each employee should take initiative to complete their given tasks or duties and should not be idle during work hours.
  5. Each employee should consistently meet or exceed the expected job performance for their position.
  6. Each employee should take proper care of, and not neglect or abuse company equipment. Equipment should only be used in an authorized manner.
  7. Each employee should be honest with Frame Destination. Intentionally giving false information regarding any subject matter will not be tolerated.
  8. Each employee should follow all policies put forth in the company handbook.

Closing Procedures

Break Area – outside door near break room should be locked, blinds closed, all appliances turned off, AC or heater set to appropriate scheduled setting, door to break room should be closed

Chop & Join – All equipment should be powered off – including (but not limited to) dust collectors, acrylic saw, mitre saw, joiner, fans (including pumps inside water fans), and air compressor. Main air valve on air compressor should be closed, and open the air regulator drain to release air in the lines

Receiving – close, latch and lock receiving door, turn off air compressor and close main air valve on air compressor. Open the air regulator drain to release air in the lines. Door to receiving area should be closed

Assembly – AC or heater set to appropriate scheduled setting, door to server room locked, power off all fans and powered machines (Gunnar mat cutters, etc)

Studio – AC or heater set to appropriate scheduled setting, doors closed and locked on both sides

Shipping – trailer doors should be secured and locked, power off all machines and fans

Entire Warehouse and Office – all lights turned off, all thermostats set to appropriate scheduled settings, all computer monitors turned off and programs exited, alarm should be turned to “away” mode and all exit doors should be locked.

Trash

          It is everyone’s responsibility to maintain a safe and clean work facility, and to regularly place items in the trash. Any waste around the warehouse should be safely placed into appropriate trash bins and all trash should be moved to the dumpster when appropriate.
