Job Title: Assembly Production Associate                                                             Department: Assembly

Reports to: Assembly Department Lead                                                      Effective Date: 08/18/2022                 

Job Summary:

Primarily responsible for the timely, accurate and safe assembly of customer ordered picture frames, both metal and wood, using hand and air tools.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage the final assembly order work queue efficiently and timely, notifying assembly department lead immediately with any issues affecting order queue.
• Responsible for appropriate units per hour of production and processing items in correct order.
• Utilize packing material as needed.
• Quality control.
• Gather off shelf items needed for order.
• Manage and minimize scrap.
• Keep common areas clean and safe.
• Any other duties assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to accurately use a ruler and do basic math.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Must be comfortable using computers.
• Proficient in English.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years related experience required.
• Able to pass a background check.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand on feet 6 to 8 hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
