Job Title: Glazing Department Lead                                                        

Reports to: Operations Director                                                                                     Effective Date: 08/18/2022

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing the workflow of the glazing department.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Assisting safely and accurately cutting glass and acrylic to the correct size based on the order.
• Manage and develop glazing team, along with other supervisors and HR team.
• Have weekly meetings with employees with updates about production numbers, goals, and improvements needed.
• Manage the glass inventory working with the Manufacturing Manager. Follow company procedure when receiving inventory.
• Communicate throughout the day with other supervisors.
• Perform routine maintenance needed for glazing department.
• Any other duties assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to accurately use a ruler and do basic math.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Must be comfortable using computers.
• Proficient in English

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years related experience required.
• Able to pass background check

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand on feet for 6 to 8 hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
