Job Title: Glazing Production Associate                                                  Department: Glazing

Reports to: Glazing Department Lead                                                     Effective Date: 08/18/2022

Job Summary:

Primarily responsible for the timely, accurate and safe cutting of glass and acrylic.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage the glass and acrylic order work queue efficiently, notifying department lead immediately with any issues affecting order queue.
• Responsible for appropriate units per hour of production and processing items in the correct order.
• Determine most efficient method of cutting acrylic and glass to minimize scrap.
• Quality control of acrylic and glass sheets. Responsible for accuracy of all units produced.
• Manage and minimize scrap.
• Keep common areas clean and safe.
• Any other duties assigned.

• Must be able to accurately use a ruler and do basic math.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Must be comfortable using computers.
• Proficient in English.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years related experience required.
• Able to pass a background check.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand on feet 6 to 8 hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
